Founded in September 2011, West Pier Studio Ltd was formed by a group of enthusiastic industry over-achievers. Graduating from some of the industry’s elite development studios, a wealth of experience, accolades and awards have been achieved across multiple disciplines and platforms, jointly releasing over 35 unique titles for some of the most prolific publishers, our pedigree is explicit.

 

Key Staff 

The West Pier Directors have over the last five years worked together on helping Black Rock Studios establish itself as one of the most highly acclaimed racing studios. 

 

Target Platforms 

We believe the industry is changing so fast that only those adapted to rapid, agile and multiple SKU’d development can take full advantage of the landscape. Historically focused on AAA console development, we are making the jump over to online and mobile games with the hope of bringing console production values to all emergent platforms. Pioneering innovative game-play, we are primarily focused on our own IP, but will also leverage our combined knowledge, and expertise as a work for hire studio.

 

West Pier has also helped create an invaluable development community by part-forming and contributing to a localised hub of independent start-ups.

 

Job Description:

From graduate level through to lead positions we are looking to fill a number of broad reaching roles. We are currently engaged with a number of partners with our work ranging from Mobile to Browser based games / app development. 

 

The successful candidate will join an experienced development team and will gain industry-leading experience on various emerging platforms.
