STV News is looking for an online reporter to join the team in our Aberdeen office.

 

The Online Production Journalist will produce breaking stories for Scotland’s leading news service, covering a wide range of national, regional and local subjects.

 

You will have journalism experience in a news environment and an understanding of the law as it affects journalists. You must be able to write fluently, quickly and accurately for a rolling deadline, as well as source exclusive stories and material before the rest of the media catches up.

 

The role will use the new journalism tools of social media, data journalism, liveblogs to reach and communicate with our growing audience, as well as working with STV’s unmatched video content. 

 

Based in the newsroom in Aberdeen, you will be an integral part of our broadcast news team, as well as working closely with the ground-breaking STV Local initiative that is the biggest and most exciting new project in Scottish journalism in years.
