Hiya Scooby! It may well be the case that you'll be busy with other projects, but I thought I'd make you aware of the initial 'feeling things out/early days' phase for the next MM production. You can view the post on the discussion forum by clicking here. I should be boring and stress that no immediate action is planned, and that this is just me trying to gauge interest levels.
But you know you'd be my first choice for any photography roles! :D Cheers!
Yeah tell me about it, I've been having trouble keeping in touch with people lately. I'm really forgetful at the best of times but with everything going on in the past three months it's been crazy. I've done more filming this past three months than I have the entire two years since I started. I have more paid work coming in march but it'll be nuts because I've got two major projects and a graded unit due for April. Waaah.
I am digging the tattoo project though and can't wait to see what comes of it. People who get tattoos must be show-offs by nature to some extent, so I guess taking part in the project will appeal to them lol.
I haven't heard back from any unis yet. A bit shit but oh well, still time. We had a showing last night of the Walkers film at Brass Monkey (it's a bar here, with a private area you can book with a big screen and a giant bed which about 50 people can sit on lol) - it was an ace night. Wanna organise more like it and hope you can come along.
That's excellent news, and well done! :D Good luck, not that you'll need it! Just got my UCAS application in a few days before the deadline. My top choice is Edinburgh College of Art, with Napier in second. Fingers crossed.
I'll have something like six new videos edited and up by the end of the month - been mega busy. Had some paid filming work, too - whoo! So barely been around to work on the site but it's all good - seems to be surviving by itself lol. Got some free time now though!
Ning finally updated to give me the chance to add sub-admins - do you want a shot? I'm just curious to see how it works and if you like it, you can stay a sub-admin. Can't think of anyone else who has stuck by MM so well.
I definitely think Billy is working for Apple lol. I agree that the price for Celtx is silly. I think most of these apps holds novelty value and nothing more. But you should invest in an iPhone. They're shiny. :P
Driving people places. Making tea. Coiling cables. Sending rejection emails to failed auditionees. Mopping floors. Logging shots. God forbid, once they actually had me operate a camera.

This seems like one of your periodic outbursts to me...! :P Yes, the two big networks are now far bigger than Media Muppet, but you always knew that was going to be the case as soon as those websites appeared. Central Station has over 60, 000 member…

It is a good website, that is a lot of money to run a website, but I can see there is alot of content on here,I can imagine it being time consuming especially with one person doing it all
Due to the nature of the site, and the large amounts of bandwidth and storage required, as well as all the extras such as people having their own profile pages, MM costs about £35 per month to run. I was always fine with this so long as people made…
Creative Scotland and central station doesn't appeal to me, it's all art house driven media and films and I can't relate to i.
But looking at some of the content and films, trailers on media muppet does interest me. It's good to see and talk to othe…
Well Billy, now you're scaring me a little! I am sure the other sites are splendid BUT to me MM has a niche too. Someone I know in the DIY scene has just killed off his band - a bunch of guys that created some really great music - have just STOPPED.…
