Leith Short Film Festival – June 2010
The Fifth Leith short film festival is running again this year as part of the
Leith Festival 2010. Once again, the event will feature short films made by Scottish, UK & International short film-makers and entries are requested via
our website:
www.leithshortfilms.co.uk
The event is scheduled for the first week in June during the Leith Festival.
Films of all genres and budgets will be considered. Please note the following points:
• Fees £7 for films under 20 minutes and £12 for films over 20 minutes
• The deadline for film submissions is May 7th 2010, and details of the film program will
be posted on our website shortly after this date.
• Please don’t submit your only copy! Discs cannot be returned!
• Entrants may submit more than one film.
• All successful entrants will be informed in May.
Screenplay Competition
In addition, we are also running a screenplay competition for the best short and feature screenplay.
£5 for a short screenplay (up to 15 pages)
£10 for a feature length script.
The winner will win The Edinburgh Screenwriters Official Award for Best Short or Feature Screenplay.
