screenWORKS is based in Fountainbridge, a 10 minute walk from Princes Street West End and Haymarket Train Station. It is situated on the 1st floor of a fantastic art deco building above Fountainbridge Library. There are 3 main areas comprising 2,500 sq. ft – the main workspace, a large meeting/training room and a smaller work/edit space.

Exterior 137 Dundee Street – We are situated on the corner of Dundee Street and Murdoch Terrace. Lots of local buses to get here including 1, 34, 35, 10, 27, 22. Free parking one block away or pay and display outside. Carpark at Cineworld Fountainpark opposite. Free secure bike storage inside screenWORKS.

Entrance and ceiling dome. Wish we knew more about art deco so we could say something intelligent here. Any local history buffs out there to educate us?

screenWORKS – Hallway, comfy couches

Main workspace – the big table – shiny red cabinets for storage – super fast wifi available throughout, and 2 new B&W laser printers.

Lockers to decorate (inside) as you wish. Bring your own boy band stickers

Retro meeting table for retro meetings & lovely 15 ft windows

Latest trade magazines, keep up to date.

Comfy couches to relax on

Smaller space suitable for setting up your equipment and editing. We are looking at getting a FCP online suite in the near future. Great room also for recording audio.

Or for meeting with clients and presenting work

Room for Meetings, Training Courses, Screenings and Events. A lovely comfy library room that can hold up to 40 people seated. Also available for external orgs who wish to hire it by the day/hour. We can also arrange superb outside catering for you and your guests. Get in touch for more info.

Another meeting area / work space. This time with Maw Broon cardboard cut out and scary picture with moving eyes. Allegedly.

The big table – arty shot

More desks to work at and nice lamps too.

As well as a full kitchen on site (microwave, cooker oven, toaster, coffeemaker & 2 fridges) the main workspace also contains a kitchenette and nice seating. We provide the fairtrade tea & coffee – you make it. The biscuit tin is topped up regularly as well (and there’s no custard creams we promise).
